THE PROBLEM
Aether Technologies had an advanced SaaS product, but their onboarding system was rigid, overwhelming, and inconsistent across screens. Many users abandoned sign-up midway, confused by excessive steps and unclear feedback. They needed a guided experience that would teach users how to use their tool while giving them a feeling of progress and momentum.
On top of that, their internal team lacked a unified design system, so every update introduced visual inconsistencies and new user experience issues.

THE SOLUTION
We reimagined the onboarding process as a three-phase guided flow, focusing on one clear action per screen. Interactive cues, inline validation, and progress indicators gave users immediate clarity and confidence. Each visual state — from loading to success — was designed to communicate trust and accomplishment.
The front-end was built in Framer, fully responsive, and supported by a global design system for scalability. Every element, from buttons to success icons, had consistent motion timing and spacing logic.

Within a month of launch, onboarding completion rates rose by 37%, and first-session drop-offs decreased drastically. The new system also became the foundation for future features, making every update visually and functionally coherent.
Internally, Aether’s design team now uses the same design system we implemented, saving hours of work per release. Flowbit’s UX language became synonymous with precision and calm.
